I gotta say, I love how the original little dent/scratch thing on the door is still there, but the rest of the car is beautifully waxed and painted. It's funny, actually.

But the door no longer squeeches when I open it, so, rockit!

Hooray Anthony! Your joy takes me back to the last time I drove cross-country, when my car broke down in the middle of Salt Lake City on a nice 100-degree day in late August. I brought it to the mechanic, who insisted that the engine had seized and had to be replaced. After an evening of resignation and woe, I called my mechanic out here in Amherst and initiated a negotiation with the mechanic in SLC, asking him to twist this bolt that way and that bolt the other way, which revealed that the problem was not the engine at all, but the starter motor.

WOO-HOOOO!!!!

OK, I'm in a bit of a loopy mood, been studying for the last 12 hours. I'm happy for you man! Especially being of a SoCal persuasion. Life, please resume normalcy. :-)
