What a good friend am I...
Mar. 30th, 2003 01:44 amSo, after a quick nap after getting home from Underground last night, I was up and out of the house bloody early this (read yesterday) morning. I'm not sure if I was awake, but I managed to get over to Brian and Dave's place to help them move...
U-Haul sucks, and they hire many incompetent people. Mainly because they screwed up the guy's reservation, didn't provide all the gear that they're supposed to, and made them wait in line about an hour. What this meant was that we had the truck about 2 hours less than we'd planned.
We still managed to get the bulky stuff all moved and into Dave's new place, and Brian's folks (for the next two weeks until he can move into his new love shack) before the things were due back. But we still had to travel back and forth up and down the South Bay bend in the 405 some six times...
I hurt.
We didn't finish until late, and then had dinner. And we all look dead, but it's been the most time that the three of us have had together in like 4 months. Nigh on 15 hours together...all lifting, shoving, moving, pulling, twisting, and driving, driving, driving.
I originally was planning to hit BANG! afterwards, but I can barely stand, let alone dance...and besides...I wouldn't have gotten up there until 1:30...(I still owe
lorienbiznitch a call, and a night at BANG! But only as long as her Boy doesn't get jealous ;-) I swear we never seem to hit the club at the same time anymore...miss that dang girl...I have no one to talk about Tori with...)
Got home, barely, pooped out as I am...sat down with Mom and Grandma and watched Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. Is it just me, or was Liz Taylor the hottest freaking thing on two legs? Cuz, PPppppprrrrr....MAGGIE THE CAT IS ALIVE!!!
I think that I shall go to bed now...and if--*IF* I'm not too dead on wheels, I'm going to find something to get into tomorrow...people should call me and the like, if they want to find me....
