So, that was a scary moment...

Mom decided to scare the living shit out of me today.

I get this call from her boss telling me that he took her to the ER because her blood pressure had spiked.

She was walking when she got suddenly dizzy. They took her bp and it was like 225/90 or something like that...yeegs...They took her down to the ER and had her stay there for tests and observation.

I booked out of work like a madman.

I got there right as she was getting out of the CAT scan. Wheeled her into the observation curtain, and I sat with her while the person in the next curtain yelled out violently in Chinese. She was going between English and Chinese about how she didn't want them to put medicine in her body because it would make her ill.

She had impacted stool. Or so the shouting match about enemas would tell.

Mom's okay, but we have to watch her blood pressure for while. Scarier than shit.

Mom and Grandma are all pretty much my whole family world. So, you know? Yeah...yeah...
