Wholly Crap!
Sep. 4th, 2003 09:42 pmI just saw the start of a police chase in front of my house!
We heard the police klaxon, and ran outside, to the screaching of tires. And there was a cop and another car rolling to a stop. The car looked like something was wrong with it, but we really couldn't tell what had happend to the side.
The Deputy jumped out of the car, and pulled his weapon.
"PUT YOUR HANDS OUT AND GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW!"
A light hand was put out of the car, and the cop began to approach. Then the guy took off! Screaming down the street and across Santa Fe Blvd towards the train tracks, and a dead end.
Almost as soon as he head out, the cop was back in the cruiser and zipping out in pursuit. Almost simultaneously, there came a helicopter with the nighttime sun zooming after. About five minutes later, five cruisers come tearing around the corner sirens blaring and lights a'flashing.
The pursuit seemed to have lasted about 15 minutes, tearing up and down the local streets of Compton.
So, if it makes it on the news or something, just know that this one started in front of my neighbor's lawn.
