I now hate HATE Lycos. They have this stupid frelling "Lycos Sidebar" that is a frelling piece of dren Spyware that automatically trojans into your system from Goodness knows where, and sets up house. And just about the only way to get it out is to either change your directory settings (adware and the like don't completely uninstall it) or search through your entire system and delete and pray.
I hate Lycos. And I shall be sending nasty hate mail (IE, AOL disks) to their mailing home address. And sign their email up for all sorts of things. Like Porn. And earthlink adds. And the LA Times Telemarketing list. Just watch me.
So watch your systems. Cuz it's out there. And it's annoying as hell.
I spent far too much money on CDs this afternoon. And DVD's. And I love it. The Smith's: The Singles; The Essential Dino: Dean Martin's Best of; Modest Mouse; The Shins; Buffy Season 6; and My Neighbor Totoro.
The family (mainly Grandma) coo'd and oo'd for Totoro. Great Movie. And now Mom knows where my desktop comes from.
I'm really diggin' on The Shins, but not quite sure yet about Modest Mouse. I suspect it will grow on me more. But hey, it's got a song called Bukowski, so, ya know? Yeah.

lorienbiznitch will be schlepping off to New Haven in about a week to be snitchuated there for about a Month. A MONTH. I informed her that aside from the craptastic parts of New Haven, there is a lot of whole happiness to be had there. And mmm mmm foodie and drinkie goodness. And cool people, who are around, because they are not undergrads who flee town with the summer's dawning.
(And Toad's. And The Doodle. And Louis' Lunch. And Richters. Mmmm...dear lord, Kavanah's and...um...um...yeah. Stuff.)
Hell, just lemme know if you're around and game, and I'll hook y'alls up.
