What a sucky morning...
Sep. 22nd, 2004 12:37 pmOverslept this morning. Up too late dithering on online, trying to write and reading stuff. Woke up running, but should have made it to work without too much hastle...
Then the traffic hit. It took me 45 minutes to travel 10 miles. TEN. Made no sense, whatsoever, but what can you do. *shrug* I *did* manage to pre-empt the boss before she gave me crap though. That was lovely.
I've been on the phone doing 6!!! conference calls this morning. Insanity. INSANITY. I haven't heard anything said by somone who's not on the other end of a phone since 9 this morning. Which is pretty good, and pretty bad at the same time. Whatever, you know? Yup.
And then my boss did *something* to the one computer connected to the internet. Which is wonderful, since there are three of us who actually need to do online research today. Hence, this entry is being brought to you by the lovely folks at LOGON cafe! Where there are three workers killing each other playing UNREAL, and cursing up a storm. Not unlike me and dave yelling at each other throughout the office when playing head to head Jedi games.
Not too bad. T1 line for half an hour for a buck. Awesome.
Now if I can get this kinda stuff at *home* for a buck. That would rock.
