Election Day and other some such stuff...
Nov. 2nd, 2004 03:56 pmStayed up way to late last night trying to finish up an article for The People's Dance Party, which didn't get fully finished. Started coming down with a cold, which is more annoyance than anything (though I should have known it was coming...it comes every year around this time, it's just late, is all...).
Slept in a bit and then got up and did some things. So, taking stock of today (in no particular order):
Cleaned up some broken and cut bush around my yard. Put it in the trash.
Took out the trash (yes, it's garbage day in Compton).
Paid all of my bills.
For only the second time ever, I paid off all my credit cards.
Re-negotiated my APR back down to something reasonable.
Changed up linen on my bed, and began the long, arduous task of cleaning my room. Again. For the umpteenth time.
Checked out locations and pricing for Bungee Jumping in So Cal (I've got a list, you see).
Looked into pricing (again) for tickets and hostels in London.
Made plans to have my ticket purchased by the end of the week.
Ate.
Took a bunch of aspirin.
Went over the twenty zillion measures on the ballot. Again.
Got cleaned up, and looked at the funny looking man in the mirror.
Read a few comic books. Because I'm behind.
Checked email.
Spent quality time with a man named "John Potty."
Hugged my Grandma.
Answered the phone five times before 7am.
Watched the news.
Listened to a bunch of CD's.
Did not (until just now) even think about that place I used to work. I should call Dave.
Thought about calling Dave. Thought against it.
Thought far too much about women.
Attempted (fruitlessly) to swear off women. Hit self for being so stupid.
Fiddled with the leaky pipe beneath the bathroom sink.
Got the mail.
Got out and voted.
Now, to go and catch Ray with the family. And then get back here and finish up writing for Liz.
