Stopped in on Bri Bri and Nellie to wish Bri a happy birthday, and to see how the preggers Nellie was doing. Poor baby is stuck on bed rest for two weeks...she had morning sickness so bad she popped a blood vessel in her eye, and pulled something in her groin' so bad that they thought she was having problems with the kid. Scary there. But she's doing fine, and is bored, and still stuck in bed.

So I hung out, chatted, caught up, and watched the boob tube over dinner.

Then zipped down into Long Beach to the WOW! Superstore, and ran into Crazy Jeff, who I hadn't seen since his birthday party at The Lip's show at the Lava Lounge last year. We stood around in front of the new release section catching each other up on the happenings of Mike Retro, Mel (pussycatmeow), Jesi Jean (zeppelinangel) and Scott. We got misty over the old days of P.U.G.G., and tried to figure out where we could go and hang out in Long Beach (there are many great little hole in the wall places...like the back room of Hof's Hut...mmmm...Hof's Hut....).

After we said our adieus, I wandered around the isles a little bit and settled on some comfort music--ah, screw shoes or food, I grab Music--Smash by The Offspring, I Heart Huckabees Soundtrack, and Sideways Soundtrack. Jazz, Quirky muzak and pseudo skater punk rock.

Now I can sink into music for a while and lose myself in sound and rhythm...
