Sitting here breathing for a moment (which I've not really done all day. But now I am...this is me breathing in...this is me breathing out...in...out...this is me listening to my breathing...hmmmmmmmmmmm...) and suddenly, out of nowhere, my auditory memory is assaulted by Elton John's voice--

Not that I'm missing anyone in particular. Just jumped in my head in that 80's-music-is-sometimes-comforting sort of way.

I shouldn't be surprised. I've had General Public's Tenderness going through my head mashed up with I Like To Get To Know You Well by Howard Jones drifting back and forth most of the day...
