So, due to me running my mouth (er...fingers) online last night...and then trying to read...and trying to do some research...and trying to--well, you get the picture--I didn't get to bed until nearly 4am...I think the last time I saw the clock, it said 4:15.

I overslept, and did so something stupid.

Work was busy...which is a good and a bad thing. Good in that it makes the day move. Bad in that my boss, who is going to be out of the office friday and monday, decided to want to make sure that everything was done before she left.  Mind you, we often get more done when she's not there AND we have the added bonus of not being stressed out about it.  Anyrate, she was there all day, hovering, prodding, poking, making folks freaked out.

Any other day, in my new "I don't care, and that's good" phase of existence, I wouldn't have worried about it. I was, however, very badly lacking in the sleep department. Which meant (means) I'm horribly irritable. Pissy. Full of cheese. I needed pep to combat this. Good old fashioned pep. So, I went for the battle rations...

My favorite lunch when I've not slept. There's very little that a good, solid meal can do for your when you're running on 3.5 hours of rough slumber. But the caffeine-unatural food coloring combo is the greatest thing next to the dreaded coffee-coke mixture.
