Jul. 14th, 2003 12:52 pmJust in case you ever wondered about what I do all day long, here's a little article thingy that I wrote for my company's quarterly newsletter a while back. Strangely enough, this is the same issue that has been on hiatus for like 6 months because we're not quite pulling enough cash to publish it this time around. *sigh*
For those of you who know how much I really "love" my work, you should hear the sarcasm come off of some parts. You'll hear me say stuff under my breath if you read it right :-)
( For something approaching an interesting read... )
Spent Saturday at my friend Brian's parent's 30th wedding anniversary. It was a durn good time, and neat to see pictures of Mrs. B when she was a young and pretty thing:-) And they had virtually the entire wedding party there for "redo" pictures. It was nice. Lovely I say. Scary to know that I've known them for 15 years of that...weird.
Sunday was a day of pure geekdom, as I spent the whole of it at Justin's place doin' the Wherewolf thing. Yes, that's right. Roleplaying! say it loud, I'm geek and I'm proud!
And yes...again, I'm gender bending the character.
Anyrate, the game ran a little...um...long...it was supposed to be over by 8, and I was going to hit The Echo for Club 82 (since I was right there in Echo Park--Freakin' Lotus festival ate up all the parking for BLOCKS!). But alas, (or goody, depending on your view) it ran long. REALLY long. We started at 1pm, and finished up around midnight. And after the humid heat of Justin's place, and the long time sitting around eating pizza, drinking Pepsi and rolling dice, I was in no shape for dancing...and I was...tired...quite. who knew. So I skinned out home, where I promptly went unconcious. Yay me.
And now, I'm here at work, trying, nay, struggling to get the frat boys to finish stuff up so we can get some comfirmations, and hopefully some $$$ in. Cuz I don't wanna have to hear the words "We can't make payroll this month." Because I'd have to hurt someone here. Or at least go out and find another job far too fast.
*sigh*
But tonight, there will be sleep...Yes, there will be...and anyone who catches me online later than 9pm has the right to yell at me. Loudly, and perhaps bitch slap me later. Yes.
