Middle of the Week, middle of the road.
Oct. 8th, 2003 08:10 pmI spent the whole of Monday home sick from work, dealing with my stomach's attempt to digest itself, and turn me inside out.
I'm glad to say it's try failed. Yay.
Yesterday and today were near complete quagmires at the job. Yurg. But you know. Dave nearly killed. Which, you know, would have been amusing, as long as I steered clear of the blood splatter.
Speaking of blood splatter, never tell a friend about taking their parent out to see strippers...even if you've not done it. Just the idea is enough to send some folks into...Well, think Scanners :-)
Anyrate, tonight is a night for going out for a bit. Wishing good thoughts for friends who are feeling a bit of the black cloud. (And for shooing away my own black clowds.)
It's all about hugs, and hope, my dearies. Hope and hugs. And I'm there for you. Even if I don't move fast like lightening, I'm there. If in no other way but by my thoughts.
Don't worry, because, you know. The Beat Goes On.
