antoniusrexI was going to post some diatribe on some club stuff, but I'm kinda pre-occupied with some horrible reality.
Some jackass just dropped a plane on an apartment building in the west hollywood/fairfax district. It's a high concentration of Orthodox Jews. At 4pm. Start of the Jewish holiday. They don't know what happened yet, but they're treating it as a crime scene. So far the toll:
2 dead (including the pilot)
7 injured (mainly burns)
4 sent to the hospital/Grossman Burn Center with major burns.
Lots of walking wounded with smoke inhallation, random burns and bruises, etc.
Said it took off from the Santa Monica airport and 10 minutes later went straight down into the middle of the building.
I've driven by this neighborhood on Fairfax a bunch of times. Yeeg.
God help us.
