Comfort, where you can find it...
Feb. 4th, 2004 07:54 pmHey,
ladybird97 did this first.
*ahem*
"Yoink!"
What is your comfort...
...food?
Junk food. Hot dogs, hamburgers, tacos, and twinkies.
...drink?
A good cup of coffee, late, late at night.
...stuffed toy or security blanket?
The big Puff quilt that my grandma made me for college, and (yes, dare I say it) Woof Woof, the 28 year old, stuffed dog that my Great Grandmother brought me long, long ago.
...movie?
Really, there's two: Singing In The Rain and Swingers.
...TV show?
M*A*S*H*, because it's almost always on, and there is NEVER a bad show. And then for some reason The Simpsons.
...book?
Again, really two choices there: The Giving Tree and The Hobbit. Old friends them.
...poet?
When I'm feelin' high fuh-loo-tin, it's Rilke, Rilke, Rilke. When I feel like laying in the gutter, and lookin' at the stars (which seems to be most of the time) I'm all about Bukowski. But, when I'm feelin' lady blues deepest, I'll turn to Langston Hughes...you know..."handful of stardust not for sale."
...activity?
People watching and writing stupid poetry for myself. It's kinda two activities all rolled up in one.
-----------
and, in case you're wondering, no...I didn't take it.
