Friday night was filled with fun and zombie nuttiness as I ran a horrible (but hopefully fun) session of All Flesh Must Be Eaten! for the cronies, for the wonders of Ghetto Gaming.

I must say, it is an interesting thing to see Justin in full character (the unfortunate racist character), screaming "Jigaboo Porch Monkey!" at his loudest whilst in Compton. Man. I was just waiting for one of my neighbors to come over to find out what was going on. But no death there.

Stayed up mighty late waiting for sleep to come, and then crashed out around 4am.

Woke up to Yair calling to say that he would be in from Tokyo on Sunday. Bumped around for a bit, and then called Alex to see about editing and project discussion.

Coffee and theoretics of what the hell we're trying to accomplish, a short walk by Jer 'n Tonia's to remember that neither were in town (or sommat like that) and then back to Alex's for editing madness.

Rough cut in about 5 hours...again, I say, there are worse things to do than stare at a pretty girl through a camera lense for hours and hours...it's JUST as cool lookin' at her as you cut the film togeher...I'm just saying...

Ricardo called in there somewhere, and ended up driving out to "West LA" to hang with us while we worked and yapped, and Alex watched me in frustration as I tried to work the editing software. Hell, *I* was frustrated watching me. Need more time with that stuff. Yurgs.

We got Thai food at this nice little restaurant just south of Santa monica. Maybe 6 tables in the whole place. Good food.

We boogied down over to the Kibbitz room for drinks, and were serenaded by a really good band fronted by (yes, three guys with our priorites on straight, huh?) two cute crooners! Yay.

Had some semi-strong, yet cheap drinks, and then scurried over to Daddy's Lounge.

Daddy's was PACKED. And there were many lovelies there, and lots of stuck uppies, and lots of dudes. Alex walked on over and chatted someone up, who he tossed aside, since she wasn't playing with the conversation ball correctly (throw it back ladies, throw it back...even if it is to say "get frelled"), and I drank some. A bit. Some. And flirted without hope of a real shot in the dark. But since I was only halfway "hunting" I really didn't care so much.

The bar closed and the time changed, and we thanked all for cellphones.

Stayed up and talked with Alex for a long while, and then went home.

Crash, again.

Woken up by Yair on the phone. In at LAX and trying to get to me via the train. Okay. Go and get. All good.

Hang for a while with the man and he freshen's up and then a request to see Hollywood, and away we go to see Mann's/Grahman's Chinese Theatre, and all the freaks on the street (What's with the new half-assed costume weirdos? I mean, is the guy from scream supposed to have a huge beer gut? And Captain America? I mean, what the hell?), and then walked down the walk of fame.

We stopped in for Thai at "Tom Thai" on hollywood, at Vine. Good stuff. Cheap "B" grade, but good, and fast, friendly service. We both ate till we were happy for 11 bucks, including drinks.

And then we rode the red line one stop, so Yair could have officially ridden the subway on every leg of his trip.

Made it back home with Yair falling asleep and me trying not to, and then somewhere in there I did something practical, but heaven knows what, followed by a non-sleeping forgetfulness.

Then Yair to the airport (for a 1am flight) and me...eventually...to restless sleep on the couch, where I have been sleeping for over a week.

I really need to fold all the clothes living on my bed.
