Mental Fry.
Oct. 20th, 2004 01:48 amDamn. The rain is coming down something wonderous.
I want to throttle my computer and then kill everyone at McAfee. Had more issues with crashes since I installed virus/firewall software. And as much as I love Mozilla, don't know why, but more freeze time. Gah. Annoying. Need more memory, I think.
Computer has crashed on me three times tonight...in the middle of stuff... Perhaps virus. But nothing comes up with scan. Maybe just...who freaking knows.
AIM hates me, and doesn't seem to operate right no matter how many times I re-install it. Won't work simultaneously with Yahoo Messenger. They don't work and play well together.
Spent all day at work helping to interview my possible replacements. Bossman offered me new "marketing" position--to travel and market to attorneys and take them out to lunch, blah blah blah. "Come back and take it in 2 months...six months...whatever." Man, gotta give it to him for trying.
But the result is that I've nothing done. Nothing of my goals...well, save two, but they were minor victories.
Still trying to write articles. Stupid writers block over 200 words...when I can jam out ten zillion here just by bullshitting. Gahf.
Running around after work tomorrow...many last minute things for Saturday. Then more stuff home. Then go to Pasadena to find Gayle (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
xleste) and hang with her and some of the fellas for a little bit. Then back here and crank out everything else.
Man, listen to that rain come down. Beautiful. Hard, wonderful rain.
I need to re-visit this again when I have time: Alter Ego. Better than a meme, more addicting that Coffe. Able to take up a slow afternoon...or far too late at night. And then I need to thank and curse Mr. Fabulich (darkforge) for the experience. Dad burned chance to live a life in a few hours...Neat. Evil. Neat.
