The ongoing meme of choice: You ask me 5 Questions and I answer them here nice and honest like. And then I turn around and (eventually) ask you five and you post them and answer them...works fun-like...

1. So big boy what are you wearing?
At this point? My ancient "?'s Ask Me--Welcome to Yale Class of '97" T-shirt. I'm still in awe that this thing is still here...makes a great nightshirt...or a random thing to wear to clubbage.

Also wearing the wonderful new glasses and the flannel green pj bottoms.

Well, you asked...

  • 2. With no hurdles (money, time etc) what would be your next 2-3 week
    vacation?

  • Oh, dear God, where to begin? But...but...only 2-3 weeks? Okay, this is something I can map out with relative ease, actually--if it were the *next* one I get to take--FIRST, a weekend in VEGAS! Because, sometimes you just have to turn your inner Bacchus loose. Friday night (fly out) saturday, sunday and then leave on monday morn. SECOND, would be a jaunt over to the Grand Canyon (it's only a couple of hours from there)to sit and stare in awe at the marvel that is that natural awesome hole. Either watching the sun come up, or really, watching it set over the big GC. Then from there, I'd grab a plane from there back up to VEGAS and over to NYC via da plane da plane! from there I'd start the THIRD leg, travelling up to New Have, Boston, NYC, DC, Vermont, etc. visiting with family and friends. This would probably take me until at least next saturday eve and to the morning of the next sunday. From *there* it'd be leg FOURTHLY: London. Actually spend a good clip of time there. Take my time and learn the town a little bit. A week of goodness, yes...perhaps a quick jaunt down to to Spain or over to France for a day or two. But mainly london. Then FIFTHLY, I'd go from London to Vancouver, Canada...and trek down to the happy that is Point Roberts Washington, USA and back and forth across the border to Vancouver. Spend the week being all happy like. Relaxed. Doing naught but drinking beer and watching the waves. Serenity.

Then it'd be back home. On Sunday afternoon, again. Ready to say goodbye to vacation and back to work.

yeah, it'd be a great time...now, if I could only hit the lottery...or find a benefactor.

  • 3. What can't you live without? What can't you live with?

  • Ooooo....muy difficulte...um...um....

Okay...I can't live without other people. Not needing them around me constantly, but needing to know that other people exist, to be able to at least look at them, listen to them. Just knowing that human struggle continues, you know? I could probably survive solitary confinement, in say, prison, if I at least got to hear the guard outside the door from time to time.

Weird, maybe, but I live in my head enough, talk to myself enough (I'm starting to suspect this is an only child thing), that I can forgo human to human contact for extended periods, if needbe, but I think that I'd go mad living on a deserted island. I need some sort of humanity to feed off of. Even if it's at a distance.

Though the lack of hugs would suck ass.

Can't live with? Sustained Fear. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering...Mainly because I often steer all of that towards myself, as it were.

For the longest time, I've battled with fear. Mainly fear of the future. Fear of not belonging, fear of not being good enough, fear of failure. Fear of my petty fears coming true in the future.

    "Think about the future!"--The Joker

    Fear sucks. Fuck fear.

  • 4. What do you want for your birthday?

  • I don't really want much. Most things I get for myself that I really want (which drives some of my friends nuts). Honestly, I just want to have friend around me. With hugs. And maybe an ipod. Or a date with Fiona Apple. Or something like that

  • 5. The best game ever ....

  • Involved a lot of alcohol, whipped cream, a hat, handcuffs, lots of questions that really shouldn't have been answered, let alone asked, a plunger (a plunger?), a battered copy of the 1000 question Purity Test, several belts, a silver bra, a copy of twister and Will's kitchen floor.

But then again, it might have been the time I lost myself in character and completely experienced being on board an ill fated ship on the high seas during a magical storm.

Or then, perhaps it was playing vampire for what?--16 straight hours over the course of a saturday night.

Too many to mention...but good times...goood times...

Bonus (I just got an ice-cream maker!)
    B. What is the oddest or most disturbing flavor (combo?) of ice cream/sorbet that you think you would actually enjoy eating?

Oooo! Bonus questions! Man, this one is quite hard, as there are flavors that I'd totally do, but never in a ice cream context...huh...Um...Bananna Beer? With rasberries...yeah...

    More to come...eventually...

    1. Describe life in the City of Compton for those who have never been there.

    2. Being that we are both from "the scene", and both minorities, tell everyone... Have you experienced racism in any aspect of the scene at all?

    3. How did you meet Michael Manzano? What were your impressions of him, and what can you say about him now?

    4. I've heard about a very intense temper in Anthony that is rarely seen. Is there a story you are willing to share with everyone?

    5. Erica Durance is on the cover of FHM this month. Your thoughts on the new Lois Lane in the show Smallville, please?

P.S. Not to be braggadocious, but I actually invented this survey back in 2003. (I have proof.) It's amazing how this thing caught on. I've seen several variations of it in LJ, and the purpose was always to have people shoot hard and get to know the journaler better. I'm glad to see people still do it.

Man, those things are from waaaaaaaaaaay back...

Yes, I'm old. I know it. IT's my ten year reunion this year. Ancient. But happy. Yeah.

    1. What is dark underbelly of Yale REALLY like?

    2. Compton always gets a bad rap. What's the coolest thing about your hood?

    3. Anthony is your secret identity, what's your superhero identity and what is he like?

    4. You get to interview one person- living, dead, real or fictional- over coffee. Who sits across the table from you and what do you talk about?

    5. Once you go black, do you never go back?
