Today was all about the nuttieness that is random ass stuff at work. One of my "assistants" got the job he went to interview for so as of Monday we are out shopping for another full time person.

Bully.

And the joy of it all is that I'm lookin' at the want ads right now, and updating my resume again. Yes.

In *other* news, I had a great conversation with [livejournal.com profile] redhound last night. We talked of porn, and writing, and gaming, and random stories from back in the day, and jobs, and *stuff*. It was a good time. Yeah. It's been too long. Need to do that more.

I swear. I'm sitting here watching the Leading Candidate debates in California. Jeez. Arnold Swarzegnegroiotioionifferslassenspieganstatchin and Peter Camejoioioi of the Green Party are out there. OUT THERE. And, I'm so sorry. But Arian Hufflepuff, though I admire her aggressiveness, is a bit too combative to be an effective politician. And really, for all the Anti "Professional-Politician" rhetoric, you need to be at least able to work with many different groups. The Aristitilean Politic. You gotta be a bit of a politician. Really. And she just ain't it.

Cruz Bust-a-movement seems to be level headed enough to be a good politician, and a fair one...but I just don't agree with some of his stances...and then there's Sen. Tom Tom McClickclack, who while I actually (don't hate me kids) agree with some of his ideas (Yeah, who knew?), I fear he lacks both the foresight and compassion to be an effective govenor.

Glah. Green Party fails to make me happy again. And Arnold is nuts and full of cliche sound bites and personal attacks with half ass numbers.

I fear that he shall win.

Again, it comes down for me, *again* the less of two evils: Republican or Democrat. Or stick with wassisface with the high ass car tax still in office. Shit. And folks wonder how he got back in office last election. How? Because it was either him or the *other* asshole.

I'm afraid that I might be stir crazy if I don't go out tonight. So I'm going out tonight. OUT. GOING OUT. 2 Drinks, 1 Dance, and LOTS AND LOTS of talking. TALK. Oh, and FLIRTING. Because I like to do that. Even if I fail miserably. :-)

Oh yeah, I did the rasberry fart noise during a meeting today. PANTS!

perhaps i'm completely wrong, but..

this whole recall thing totally pisses me off. davis was voted in by the will of the people..and then because he fucked up (AGAIN..like he didn't do enough the first time aroun), someone decided we should have yet another goobernatorial vote to see if we could oust him. whatever happened to the will of the people? who's crazy idea was this recall thing anyway? certainly not the voting public's..

actually, it was the people. something like a million signatures were collected.

my position throughout this whole thing has been this: leave davis alone. he's flawed, but it's not like putting someone new in office is going to magically right everything. i'm voting NO and putting an end to this madness.

ok, so it was the people. still, though. they were the ones stupid enough to put him in for a second term in the first place. deal with your mistake. and like you said, it's not like changing gears halfway through the term is going to make ANY difference.
